The Creating a work budget challenge lesson focuses on understanding a range of financial terminology, before moving on to an activity based on a real work scenario, where students will project manage a training event, working within a set budget.

Lesson learning outcomes
By the end of the lesson students will be able to:
- Understand a range of financial terminology.
- Identify ways of managing a budget for a project at work.
They also develop students’ core transferable skills such as problem solving and communication.
These resources align to the Young Money Financial Education Planning Framework and have been awarded the Young Money Quality Mark.
